The owners, Gilles and Elizabeth, welcomed us with open arms, sharing tales of the chateau's rich history and their passion for its restoration, creating a true sense of being amongst friends. The attention to detail in the beautifully appointed rooms with flat-screen TVs and electric kettles added a touch of modern comfort to the historic charm. The outdoor dining area offered breathtaking views for enjoying the delicious breakfast spread, while the shared stories and camaraderie with fellow travelers enriched our stay. The value for money here is unparalleled, making this hidden gem a must-visit for those seeking an authentic and memorable French experience.
